Today our class went to the MOMA.....here are some of my favorite paintings!

Max Ernst Rendezvous of Friends

Joan Miro Self-Portrait....Love the subtle detail hidden within the portrait

Alice Neel--Kenneth Fearing (social realism) I enjoy the composition and the detail of the objects within the composition, instead of distracting the audience, it compliments the painting.

Detail of Echo of a Scream by David Alfaro Siqueiros

Love the detail! and the mixing of colors, absolutely stunning!

Claude Monet

Marc Chagall I and the Village--BEautiful composition and mixing of colors! I love the repetition of circles and triangles and the overall theme of the painting.

umberto boccioni

James ensor--Tribulations of St. ANthony--From a distant this painting seems very abstract but when you walk up, this painting is filled with detail and interesting components

Francis Bacon__Love the negative space of foreground and background
